Michael “Skip” Merrill passed away on February 24, 2025,
in Hayward, California, at the age of 70.
A longtime resident of Hayward, Skip enjoyed life —
especially fishing and playing dice with friends and family.
He had a strong presence and a personality that made
an impression wherever he went.

Merle is survived by his wife, Patricia Giles; his son, Tony Giles, and daughter-in-law, Yeki Giles; his grandson, Ron Giles, and Ron’s wife, Johanna Monterrosa; his sister, Martha Pierson; and his brother, Timothy Giles.
Diane Margaret Pyle
Passed away on 02/10/25
Diane Morrison Pyle was born in Paisley, Scotland on January 8, 1965 and passed away on Monday, February 10 in San Leandro, CA, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her son Kevin, parents William and Louise, brother Gary (Leslie), sister Lyn (Robert), and numerous relatives both here and in Scotland.
A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 27 at 2 p.m.

Mary Lee Hall, 82 years old, passed away peacefully at her home under Hospice Care in San Leandro, CA on Thursday, November 29th 2024. Mary was a bold courageous woman, having left her home state of Arkansas to seek out new opportunities in Detroit, and then eventually Oakland, California. She was born on November 15th, 1942 and graduated from A.L. Reed High School in Dumas, Arkansas.
